Prayer Diary - Support Through The Power OF PRAYER

PRAY for the diocese as all Parishes seek to elect new Parochial Church Councils, that they will be led by the Holy Spirit.

As the days go by, the diocese needs a four wheel drive to enter and evangelize very rural communities with very deplorable roads. Please join us in prayer. Recently we have just discovered a village with a very big river to cross, with no bridge.

The Cathedral Bus has been repaired but it is still in very bad shape. Pray for provision for a new one.

We have just purchased a piece of land at New Galilee (Kandaha), one of our new planted churches. Pray the Lord to provide money to build

Two new congregations have been planted, namely in Jakusco and Nangere. Pray for growth and stability. The Emir of Nangere is giving us serious headache; please pray God to soften his heart.

Thank you for your prayers. We have secured landed papers for our land at Pampamori Njamena and New Galilee. Pray for provision of fund to buiid.

The building of the Diocesan Clinic has been completed miraculously. All the clinical materials bought. What we are waiting for now is a Medical Doctor from Europe or America willing to spend his/her sabatical leave in Nigeria, to assist us work here for a year or two. Please pray that God will send such a person to us. (The problem is that we cannot afford  to pay a Doctor on our own strenght).

The building of the Diocesan Bookshop has also been completed. An individual has promised to supply the first set of books for sale. Very soon it will be opened to the public. Thank God for this.

The second session of our Diocesan Synod holds at Gashua from the 29th of April to the 2nd of May. Pray for successful deliberatios.

All the Priests and the Bishop will be embarking on a missionary enterprise to three areas of the Diocese to plant new Churches at the end of May. Pray for successful outreach.
